Leeds 28/12/25 thread

There are no easy games.

Will be a battle. Always is against Dirty Leeds.

But a win essentially means we won't get relegated - on 30 points with 20 games to still play in a league where for the past decade 38 points means safety. Hell South Shields could get that many needed points.

Hope the lads are fired up.
This, I would love to win on Sunday and I’d be really confident of staying up

Leeds fans getting a bit cocky , time to bring them back down a bit
They are mind, saying some shit online you’d think we were Rock bottom of the league and minnows having Real Madrid come to town 😂 the mags of Yorkshire. Not a side way above them and a fair few points better off and in decent form ourselves.

A few weeks ago dcl was shite and disgusting signing, the board had let the fans down, the manager was out of his depth and it was all a disgrace for the mighty Leeds. Now they’re Real Madrid dcl is the signing of the season and farker is pep reincarnated.

Here’s hoping we put them right back in the relegation scrap.

Daffy : Having beautiful dreams is not only not forbidden, but necessary! As for reality, alas, facts are stubborn... Plans based on dreams are fine, but only if you keep your feet on the ground! ;)

The people of Leeds aren't called Loiners for nothing: they dream of grandeur, of wide avenues instead of their narrow streets. The same goes for their club and the grandiose Sunderland!

What's that list?

We've beaten all of the above, plus Newcastle.

In those games above, Leeds:

Lost at Forest
Drew with Bournemouth
Drew with Newcastle

You also lost at home to Villa (we drew, and had 10 men for an hour).

You've kept 2 clean sheets all season (both of them months ago), and up until about 2 weeks ago you were heading for relegation and calling for sacking your manager. You've finally won a couple of games, and suddenly Leeds are Pep's Barcelona.
Calvert-Lewin will get very little change from Ballard and Omar in the air. Okafor seems their most creative player but i'd genuinely back Mukiele to keep the vast majority of the league's left wingers quiet. Xhaka and Geertruida are better than anything they have in midfield.

Leeds 0-1
