ID checks for away tickets

How do the ballots actually work? So I would apply and me son would we both be successful or just 1 of us? 🤷🏼‍♂️ only a problem now weren’t a problem down Accrington in the monsoon 🤦

76 yard people getting points? Or have I missed a post linked to this 🤦

Accrington in the monsoon
Well if it works anything like the one abysmal attempt they ran for last season v Pompey (where everyone got one who applied), you apply in your group, give card details etc. and your whole group either fails or is successful so there would never be an occasion where some have tickets and some don't

If you are successful payment taken and tickets allocated

They follow the rules mate. Because demand is high at the moment, they are a very easy target.

I’ve said for a while that the bigger issue is that Facebook page
Branches are always an easy target, I can give you an example spurs away a branch needs 160 ticket to keep everyone happy who asked reality is they’ll get 80 if there lucky. With the new system they have to log on just like everyone else and buy 9 at a time no special treatment as everyone suggests

I get you, so you’d apply with who your going with then if successful they just take the money 👌

That's the way it's working in 76 Yards. The problem is taking away the tickets from people who have corporate season tickets for years, beein going to aways for years, but never getting points because it's sat outside the ticketing system. It's a legacy from previous practice.
I guess they just have to draw a line in the sand if they have an appetite to take them away.

If we stay in the PL and people give up their corporate tickets based on this then I imagine others will be happy to take their place

The branches used to get a small percentage of tickets ie London branch a few for Fulham, they now get nothing.
Pretty disappointing imo

Not all branches follow the rules mind I know loads who get tickets.

Aye the Sunderland away page is a bad one like loads of tickets go via that.

Yeah I spoke to the lad last year who runs ours coz I was intrigued how they did it, previous to this new system was a case of they’ll ask for what they want then ticket office would go down there list and allocate the tickets until they ran out or sold out totally different now and yet people still moaning

Yeah there's a certain one that rings around asking if certain members are planning on going and if they don't the ST gets used and passed on to someone else

They’re potentially looking into priority away tickets for 76 yards next season. Only right as well.

Yeah I think the old system wasn't particularly fair as the branches got their tickets before the people in each phase. For example 500 tickets left in phase 2 and branches requested 500 tickets = no sales to anyone else

No issue with how it is done now with branches

At the end of the day mate, the branches have to follow the same rules as everyone else.

They can only apply for tickets if they have numbers with the relevant number of points. Perhaps a couple end up with branch members with less than the relevant number but they will be a tiny minority.

Yeah no problem with branches that’s how I get mine 😂 mind I’m on 50+ with 2 or 3 to still go on.
But like you say that’s defiantly how it used to be done, I can remember balckpool away I got 13 in total 🤦
