Australia v England, 2nd Test, 4th December 0400

Chalk and cheese compared to that first innings in Perth.

For all this mental preparedness they look defeated two days in to the second test.

It's very telling but also very worrying.
He has but we haven't half made it easy for him

Yup he's just laid very basic bait and we've nibbled 90% of the time... easy work for him, he hasn't had to work too hard for his wickets

I don’t get it.

All we’ve heard is how it’s a great camp, spirits are high etc.

Going to Australia is always going to be difficult. But at least put up a fight ffs. This is appalling.

Yup "all preparing for The Ashes", everything was about this series. The body language is absolutely appalling here, they should be buzzing and thriving bowling in these conditions and they just look half arsed. We need some magic very soon here else this is going to run away from us very quickly and this lot will take great pleasure rubbing our noses in it.

Don’t get that final ball at all. There’s just been 2 balls that have caused the batsman a little problem, so he lets them get out of the over with a bouncer.

It’s like the bowlers are more worried about their own run figures than bowling to a plan.

Should we fall to a 4 or 5-0 defeat, then we should probably just wrap in as a test playing nation.

ouch
If Carse was 5 years older he’d be nowhere near this side.

He’s a decent white ball cricketer. But this is a level above him.
It's groundhog day again another series in Aus where our bowlers are getting the stick.

The batsman are to blame in both games.

We’ve put 330 on the board in this game.

That’s a decent amount to defend.
