Australia v England, 2nd Test, 4th December 0400

Bowling has carried on being utter dog shit after the break.

It’s such a shame because they looked so good in the first day of the series, but now they all look like county plodders.

What would the equivalent be in football?
Would it be like playing five centre forwards and saying we'll just score more than you?
Constantly playing lazy hospital passes out from the back because it's the style that you want but get punished and refuse to learn.

These two tests have been such an opportunity;

Khawaja injured
An opener on debut
No Hazelwood and Cummins for both tests
No Lyon here

Starc has been great of course
This, these first 2 tests we have probably seen the weakest Aussie XI in an Ashes series down under for decades yet we still look like going 2-0 down.

Brain dead isn’t it.

What does the bowling element of Bazball entail? Chuck a few pies and hope they sky it?
Batting and bowling we do the opposite of what we should be doing.
Are we just trying to be zany and different to everyone else?

The willingness to work hard whilst being proactive in taking runs is the key difference between their batting line up and ours.

We have only one man willing to do that.
