we havent submitted any plans for the east standSomeone said we've submitted plans for a east stand extension to add 2000k more to the stadium. Wether that's true or not is another thing
Tickets still available for tomorrow by the way
new jackie whites marketJust build it all, 65,000 capacity, monorail, Michella's cafe, TY McGurk shop, Pink Slice factory, Propa restaurant.
Welcome to the premier league i supposeCheapest ticket i can see is £149. After that £300
Standard price tickets are getting snapped up in no time.
For one person? There can't be much of a market for that.all the way up to 8k a season.
Sounds like something someone called Weststand would saywe havent submitted any plans for the east stand

Extra 2000k ????Someone said we've submitted plans for a east stand extension to add 2000k more to the stadium. Wether that's true or not is another thing

Nah plans are there for the south stand extension of 5k+.... chopping 2000 seats off, assuming for corporate stuff.Someone said we've submitted plans for a east stand extension to add 2000k more to the stadium. Wether that's true or not is another thing
So that'd take us to roughly 52-52k?Nah plans are there for the south stand extension of 5k+.... chopping 2000 seats off, assuming for corporate stuff.

if we reclaim seats, it'll take us to about 53-53500. Though I agree with other posts that corporate should be in the west and east stand. So that'd take us to roughly 52-52k?
Not for a newly promoted team, but there’s already a small market. Banks on the Wear is more expensive than that.
If we can regularly challenge for Europe, demand will increase even more.
I think any south stand extension with expand on boxes, as we’re at capacity now. Maybe not the full row as I think there’s a really good opportunity to offer something like the founders experience in the south stand or even a Quinn’s bar.I'm not convinced that's the best way forward tbh.
Corporate is better suited alongside the pitch. If you are charging big money for hospitality then most people are going to prefer a view from pitchside rather than behind a goal.
It would also dillute our 'home end'. The South Stand should be single tier when it is extended and aimed at our rowdy singing element not corporate.
