SOL expansion

I'm not convinced that's the best way forward tbh.

Corporate is better suited alongside the pitch. If you are charging big money for hospitality then most people are going to prefer a view from pitchside rather than behind a goal.

It would also dillute our 'home end'. The South Stand should be single tier when it is extended and aimed at our rowdy singing element not corporate.
All the top end highest priced stuff will be along the sides eventually but most modern stadiums now cash in as much as they can and have that stuff all the way around. I'm guessing we'd want to do likewise.

Punters naturally gravitate to parts where there's an atmosphere without contributing to it, so a mid level corporate option in the South would be popular imo.

This season card resale option will give the club some great data to understand what the potential is for expanding the stadium.
If we collect the data over the next couple of seasons where we will no doubt have some ups and downs during that period, the club will be able to gauge what the potential will be to fill the additional seats.
Only a couple of games so far but the resale seats get snapped up very quickly. Be interesting to see if that continues. If it does, expand the stadium!

I think any south stand extension with expand on boxes, as we’re at capacity now. Maybe not the full row as I think there’s a really good opportunity to offer something like the founders experience in the south stand or even a Quinn’s bar.

But I agree the higher end corporate stuff and the likes of Monty’s is much more suited to being alongside the pitch.
Spot on.

Surely this really needs looking at now. I'm pretty certain we could've sold this game out twice over if there wasn't any restrictions on who could buy the tickets.

I don’t think this game is a good judge of it mate, but there’s plenty evidence from others there’s a requirement.

Problem is once they build the apartment blocks opposite the stables there wont be a view anymore walking over the bridge. You will still see the top of the West Stand and South West Corner but the South Stand will be out of view.

I think nothing should be built that restricts the view from the bridge to the stadium
