in all seriousness, a couple of staircases at the back of the south and east stands before they do any extensions would be useful. use the walkway around the back of the last rows and get people out quicker. getting down from the back of there is a right ball ache after full time

Not for a newly promoted team, but there’s already a small market. Banks on the Wear is more expensive than that.
If we can regularly challenge for Europe, demand will increase even more.

I'm not convinced that's the best way forward tbh.
Corporate is better suited alongside the pitch. If you are charging big money for hospitality then most people are going to prefer a view from pitchside rather than behind a goal.
It would also dillute our 'home end'. The South Stand should be single tier when it is extended and aimed at our rowdy singing element not corporate.

if we reclaim seats, it'll take us to about 53-53500. Though I agree with other posts that corporate should be in the west and east stand.

Yeah, it's a very small market though and that's high end seating and fine dining. I don't think we'll ever be in a position to sell £8k per person seasonal offerings for anything approaching scale,and especially not behind the goal.

I think any south stand extension with expand on boxes, as we’re at capacity now. Maybe not the full row as I think there’s a really good opportunity to offer something like the founders experience in the south stand or even a Quinn’s bar.
But I agree the higher end corporate stuff and the likes of Monty’s is much more suited to being alongside the pitch.
