Disneyland Paris…

Reckon might have issue with train transfers on Boxing Day @scotch?

Just gonna uber in to hotel on arrival but fancying train back as don’t fly till late and might take in some downtown Disney and Paris itself.
The schedule will probably be up around 6 weeks in advance, if they are running, definitely want to book early for a good price

haha, aye, that's not going to be cheap.

For £4k I'd want to be looking out from inside it
 it’s mad the prices for DLP mind. I’m hoping we don’t get table for Xmas day characters dining as dread the cost. Would rather upgrade hotel room or have extra night somewhere for the price.

Going in April, Disney hotel Paris, full princess experience (for the little one, not for me) £4k!

Stayed there a few weeks ago. Just 2 nights. We got a half board meal plan and it was well worth it for the character dining. Tip, if you get the meal plan use one token at La Table de Lumière, it counts as same number meals as anywhere else but it’s the best food you will get there and you see 4 princesses with their partners. You get to see so many more characters without waiting in the long queues in the park at all the character dining.

Not sure how you have booked it, but I’d suggest you do a travel day first and stay in a cheaper off site hotel. Then move to DLP hotel early doors on the first day your park ticket allows. That way you get the whole day there, including magic hours rather than missing a large chunk of it travelling.

Also log into the app on multiple people on the booking. That way you can book more royal encounters at once, I think my daughter saw every princess multiple times doing that. If you ask the staff on the desk nicely they usually tell you whose up next and when the changeover is.
I’ll still be paying €20 a glass to drink prosecco on main st though. One of life’s pleasures at 10am.

€14 a pint in the DLP hotel

How much in park these days sure was €8/9 a can last time we visited.

Went in 2018 ish. Never again looking at the prices now. Farce
In 2018, or 17 maybe, we paid £600 for the 5 of us full board at the cars themed hotel. That included tickets for 5 days and 4 nights at the hotel. It was £2k for Disneyland Hotel for the same dates.

It'll be a canny bit more than that now.

Heading back in 2026 too so can go to frozen land. Then be back for lion king but in between then it’ll be back to Walt Disney world for encanto and monster inc then Florida again for Indian jones and cars land. Then a bit time off before back to Florida for villains land. Throw in wife’s plans for LA and I’m thinking of running away.

Not been to DLP for 2 years we we’ve got AP for universal in Orlando but we’ve booked for 2027 to see the new frozen bit (but not straight away as the crowds will be crazy)

Just bought our tickets.

2 days 2 parks. £588.40 for us all.

It was only £1600ish for 14 days 5 parks passes for Orlando.
Can see why people suggest going to Florida rather than DLP.

Warra bump.
If you go to America you've gotta fly all that way to put up with Americans though.

Missed out on a booking for character dining for Xmas day it seems. Have to check daily for cancellations.

I’d be happy with f&c from toads place.

Been back a week now

Thoughts: Parks look tired to me though there is a fair bit of work going on.

Really enjoyed the Avengers Assemble ride . Hollywood House of Terror was decent

Spiderman ride was very disappointing

Grandkids enjoyed it though which is the main thing

Food prices were ok (surprisingly)

Wife (no) enjoyed the Disney Village

I am looking forward to it. Been a good few years since we’ve been. Know work happening same as in Florida but reckon with it being Xmas eve and day it’ll be ideal.
