Villa forum

Only a matter of time though but.
Sack the board sack the manager cry cry boycott games we lost a few games. I can't cope with life my football team have lost why aren't we top and won every game 10-0 this isn't what happens on my PS5. I'm off to cry and blame everyone else because I'm not enjoying.my hobby. Sue everyone. Sack everyone.

Maybe football isn't the hobby for you.

I think this will be our toughest game yet. I know they haven’t won or scored yet in the league but it’s the first time there is a bit of pressure on us as so called favourites. They have had a slow start but will click into gear soon. Too many quality players not to. The talk of sacking Emery is absolute madness.

Think ? ( the other day ) they were favourites with bookies ?
Agree this will be tough as they will be absolutely desperate to score and win -they have very good players who have underperformed so far -hope it goes another game and we are at our best on Sunday
Sunday games can dampen the atmosphere-been cracking so far this season -hope this continues
Really looking forward to it .

To comply with PSR. How do you think we are going to manage the situation. We spend all our PSR money in 1 go. If we stay up we need to sell what we brought in. And then not be able to buy nobody for 2 seasons.

Just like they are.
PSR is calculated on a 3 year cycle isn’t it?
We haven’t lost anything last couple of years and this summer we sold Bellingham with a ‘book value’ of about £750k for £35m

We sold Watson with a book value of zero for £10m

We’ve spent around £160m in this window but almost all of those fees are divided over length of contract in the accounts (say four years) so essentially that’s £40m per year.

I’m sure heard recently on a football finances piece on a podcast the Isak deal has effectively give. Newcastle about £300m to to spend as his book value was something like £25m this summer.

Bloody hell a few of them really are turning on Emery too, now that really IS bed wetting!!!:lol:
It's the same at all clubs unfortunately. You could have a hundred fans with 99 of them cheering but that one doing the booing is still heard.
As someone posted earlier it would have been the same here if we hadn't gotten off to a decent start. It's just the nature of the beast nowadays

Talk of must win.

Emery’s last chance.

Surprising to me.
Amazing really given that he was lauded as a genius around this time last year.
They are heavy favourites for this game tbf.
Slight odds on. Anyone backing Villa, in their current form, at odds-on needs their head checking. Either they are way too short, or Sunderland are massive value at 12/5.
