Come on you can’t base it on cup games. That ludicrous.i personally think that you can judge the supply and demand by the cups games.
looking at the big clubs these games are normally the games where 'locked out ' fans can get the tickets.
we just manage to get 15k-20k
I think some people are getting wayyy too ahead of themselves with the extension idea. we need a good 5/6 years of solid sell outs before the club will entertain the idea IMO
also we if we still in the prem next season we should set up a membership for fans without season cards. charge £30 a year and match day sale will only go on sale to these members, or a ballot for more high profile games.

Aaaah BistoExactly
This talk of stadium expansion is ludicrous
Thankfully it isnt happening anytime soon
30 minute wait for a metro from St Peters after the Brentford game, and it was half from people who'd gone back to Sunderland Station, imagine the fuss if that was GallowgateI think if an extension happens then transport options have to improve. It's a piece of piss getting out of SJP to Durham, Berwick, Darlington etc but even just to get to Hetton, Washington or Durham on a matchday from Sunderland is hell.

If the link from Hylton to Washington happens, and with the foot bridge opening, it might improve things.
But moving 45k people from the stadium is a nightmare, imagine adding another 10k
Really? 2 stations a 10 minute walk from the ground, one to Liverpool street and one to Stratford. To be fair, there's nothing wrong with the transport really. It's arguably one of the best in the country, much better than the likes of both Liverpool clubs, both Manchester clubs, Tottenham etc and that's before going onto the grounds in the middle of nowhere like Brighton.
Comparing to Newcastle is silly as imo they literally do have the best transport, the only place competing is West Ham with numerous railways nearby.

Connections from Tottenham Hale (25 min walk) and Seven Sisters (30 min) straight into Central London.
Spurs also different in that they keep their bars open so the crowds disperse slower. Something SAFC should look at.
Your ability to understand why it is required is absolutely ludicrous. This isnt 1970.Exactly

I was on the platform aswel absolutely ridiculous the metro system is a complete mess , I got off the metro at monument on Saturday night at 5.15 and it was the same there missing metros 1000s queuing after the mags match30 minute wait for a metro from St Peters after the Brentford game, and it was half from people who'd gone back to Sunderland Station, imagine the fuss if that was Gallowgate

It's not when games are selling out in a couple of hours.Exactly

It’ll be finished by thenIt's not when games are selling out in a couple of hours.
But let's see where we are in 3 years.
30k in the 3rd tier is significantly less fickle than the majority of clubsOurs are every bit as fickle if we're being completely fair
Best make sure we don't go down then. This is once in 20 years. There needs to be a bigger sample size before the club will out down £50m or whatever.
If we go down, you'll have 5k empty seats already as the stadium is.
Let under 11s in for a pound the knarsI think if we do it you might as well do the east and south together, which would be about 65k ?, but I can see a huge increase in hospitality so it might add an extra 10k general admission seats to what’s on sale now. The stadium would then be on par with the top clubs in the country in terms of capacity and hospitality offering
That system is already in place at some clubs no?Come on you can’t base it on cup games. That ludicrous.
We’ve had no hope for the best part of 10 year.
The club hasn’t took cups seriously (why should they given league status) and neither have the fans.
If we get in a position to do a palace or get to quarters and semis then crowds for cup games will increase.
Just look at the mags. They’ve created a close shop for cup games. Don’t go to all the rounds? Well you’ll not get a ticket for the final. They have to commit.
Hence them getting sellouts vs Bromley.
Before that they’d get some similar crowds for cup games.

The Saudi boys have fuckin short memories.
Christ I’ve just read the rest of your post.
Happy not to extend just some we can charge fans £30 a year for the hope of a ticket. Dear me

Red Seats, empty or filled are the last reason we would expand. Growth isn't in the gift of Tony from Marley Potts or Barry from Pelaw, but if either of them have a relative who owns a company who employs Tony and Barry then they might fancy purchasing corporate, Tony might even have his daughters wedding there and so on and so on. That is small scale, the club will be aiming much later than that.
I really believe they’ll start it if we are safe early next year. It’ll be ready by the end of next year. It’ll be finished by then![]()
Have a look to try and get a ticket for a premier league game at other clubs, bar Burnley you need to have a membership.Come on you can’t base it on cup games. That ludicrous.
