Professional football managers all found room for him in the squad, usually in the starting line up. He was frustrating at times, but his dribbling often meant we could push higher up the pitch. He is off to a club who are investing well in the championship and in previous years Southampton tried to take him off us. He is not the terrible player that so many of our fans are deciding he is. He also isnt a world beater, but he has played a big role in getting us to where we are and his final big contribution was that pass to Mayenda in the playoffs. Wish him nothing but good luck going forwardIts actually mad to think how much further on the club might have been had we had someone playing in his position who didn't constantly lose possession
Against Huddersfield (league 1) he lost the ball EVERY SINGLE TIME
So many thick fans in our fanbase
Well im not 83 so dont know half of themWith you being top of the list.
Have you forgotten Some of the wingers that played for us:
Paul Atkinson
John Colquhoun
Sam Aiston
Tony Cullen
Chris Maguire
Roy Greenwood
Roly Gregoire
Lewis Morgan
You really think any of those were better than Roberts?

You're showing yourself up to be one of the thickest to be honest. Its actually mad to think how much further on the club might have been had we had someone playing in his position who didn't constantly lose possession

We have 3 options available plus one injured plus might sign oneShould have begged him to stay for a season....gonna be short on the wing. Probably play Rigg there.
We’d be talking about whether we could re-sign him! He’s one of my all time favourite wingers for us, incredible technical ability but also works his socks off. I wish him nothing but good fortune and he goes with genuine thanks.Deserves a good move if he knows he's got getting a game here.
Been excellent for us and very consistent too.
If only he could shoot half as well as Clarke this would be a very different conversation.
Putting EVERY SINGLE TIME in capitals to emphasise an incorrect statement is also crackers, takes two minutes to look up that he completed 2/5 dribbles that game. Granted id prefer he completed more, but it instantly proves the EVERY SINGLE TIME thing as nonsenseYou're showing yourself up to be one of the thickest to be honest.
Have you actually enjoyed the past few years of being a Sunderland supporter, or have you only just recently crawled back out of the woodwork now we've hit the big time again? Can't say I've noticed you about much.
Either way, it must be a pretty grim existence hating one of the most talented and productive players we've had during our rise.
Well your IQ is certainly not that high.Well im not 83 so dont know half of them![]()

Ower the moon ^We have 3 options available plus one injured plus might sign one
If you're reading what I said as "just what we should idolise" then your interpretation of 'facts' (stats in your case) against what you actually see proves my initial point perfectly.A winger with very little outputjust what we should idolise
