Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium

Great servant for the club and I always enjoyed watching him play. I think Talbi or potentially Mayenda on the right means he's not going to get much of a chance so best of luck to the lad at Birmingham! ๐Ÿ‘

Potentially a good move for him, loved watching him at times but needs to playing regularly and feel we have signed better.

Good luck to him

Played his part in getting us from league one to the premier league. Great to watch at times, frustrating at other times. Hopefully he has a good season.
The fact of the matter is, if Patrick Roberts was everything those who deride him want him to be, he would never have left Man City. He certainly wouldn't be anywhere near a basketcase club stuck in the doldrums in League 1.

What Patrick Roberts has been is a mainstay in an evolvong team that has achieved two promotions in 3 years. A real touch of quality after years of watching some absolute cloggers. After years of bouncing about he found a home here and gave us his all.

I love the lad and I'm sad to see him go.

Its actually mad to think how much further on the club might have been had we had someone playing in his position who didn't constantly lose possession

Against Huddersfield (league 1) he lost the ball EVERY SINGLE TIME

So many thick fans in our fanbase
With you being top of the list.

Have you forgotten Some of the wingers that played for us:
Paul Atkinson
John Colquhoun
Sam Aiston
Tony Cullen
Chris Maguire
Roy Greenwood
Roly Gregoire
Lewis Morgan

You really think any of those were better than Roberts?

Made his debut in the 6-0 loss to Bolton and remember him coming on when we lost to Cheltenham. Essentially the lowest point in our recent history. Its been a major upward trajectory since and he's more than played his part in it. I'm also sad to see him go

Wish the lad all the best. Aye he doesnt score or create enough for his ability, but he's still played a huge part in our rise from obscurity. Personally I've enjoyed watching him play and he still gets you on edge of your seat. His goal down Sheffield Wednesday should be looked at as such a significant moment, to drag our club back on the right path. Good luck Paddy lad and thanks for what you've done ๐Ÿ‘
Heโ€™s been one of the most important players in our recent history. I fully agree, has all the talent in the world with the ball at his feet but doesnโ€™t get his head-up and therefore his numbers are nowhere near what they should be.
Still a huge part of our rise, as you say mate, if not the most important in the vital moments.

What he'd produce in the PL any of the current midfielders or attackers could do.
I'm think if we pickup a few injuries. Furthermore, we've got the African Cup of Nations to consider. Talbi and Adingra will both be away for this.

That leaves us with Mundle and Le Fee who play on the same side.
