Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium

Hasn't got the pace or final ball to compete at this level. Needs moving on
Dont get these roberts, neil , o nein haters on here.
Pure poison.
We have already spent £150 m on a new team and we need a back up squad in case of injuries.
We all the know the team that finished 4 th in championship will not survive on premiership..
If you are going to have a go at the huddersfield defeat , then look at those 1st half tactics.
They were so bad, playing roberts on the wrong wing, for a starter

Once the window is shut we then have to wait to January is my concern. If Talbi isn't quite right coz is young is Roberts then first choice? Sorry but I hope we sign another winger.

If we sign another winger as has been rumoured we are looking at, Adringa, Talbi, new addition and Mundle to come back. I don’t dislike Paddy, on the contrary have some fond memories of him, however it’s a performance business. We also have Mayenda who can play there. Appreciate your opinion, mine just differs mate.
If we were to sign another striker - which I don't think we will - I would 100% use Mayenda from the RW as well as CF cover, alternating with Talbi. I'd play Mayenda RW ahead of Roberts any day of the week.

The creativity in this team is non existent which is what it was like last near the end of last year.
He was literally the most creative player last season, and definitely one of the most creative on Tuesday.

We need some wingers who are pacey, direct and can cross the ball by getting down the line
We just spent £42.5m on two wingers. Roberts and Mundle are backup / squad players.

Totally agree!
All the players you cite are and have been good honest pros and huge contributors to where we are now.
Written off before being given a real chance to show their worth.
If they do leave it should be with our sincere thanks not the disgraceful demeaning. Comments so many of these pathetic know nowt bairns spout

Yes, I did go to the game. Did you?

Just checked his stats and his pass completion was circa 88%. Not bad at all.
That's actually really good, considering he has to risk possession by nature of his position.
To be honest I still think he’s a decent option off the bench but he keeps the ball too long then gives it away.
If he could keep it simple and pass it quicker he’d be ok.
He tends to offload it quicker when we actually have players near him and movement.

Its actually scary when you look at his output statistically... Towards the top end for touches, ball carrying etc... then when you look at shooting its beyond dreadful, average at best in terms of putting balls in/getting it to good areas and he doesn't win free kicks either for how good he is with the ball. Just beyond frustrating
He probably finds it frustrating himself

People obviously judging things on their own biased reality

There’s some on here believe we have a god given right to have the best players on the world here because we’re a huge club. They can on like bairns about Robert’s, Neil etc.

Ok those players are likely not good enough to be consistent premiership performers but at the moment we need them and should be thankful for the job they’ve done these last few years.
