***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

Should we heck. Roefs had that last chance covered anyway. We'll push on and beat them in the second half. We just look better than them.
They are just looking to snatch one. We look more measured in our approach but Burnley won’t come out. I think if we upped the tempo these are there for the taking.

As the home side against a team they finished well ahead of last season Burnley look very cagey. I know Parker often sets up to be hard to beat, nick a goal then shut up shop but we look very comfortable. I'd keep it as it is, we'll get chances. Just need to put them away.

Seelt has looked OK but hasn't been put under much pressure due to them sitting off somewhat. Lucky to get away with the goal - didn't look a foul to me from what I've seen. Hopefully Ballard's injury isn't too serious but shows how one injury makes you start looking at the depth of the defence.

Keep it like this for now and if Burnley continue to just let us have the ball maybe bring on Le Fee and Guiu for Mayenda and Diarra.

Xhaka and Reinildo look a level above. Xhaka picked up so many loose balls and controlling our play... yeah he lost his man at the end but to say he's been poor because of it would be harsh.

Talbi continues to impress me after not thinking much of his pre-season performances. Makes you think.

we need more in the final 3rd should be 1-0 up absolutely sitter from mayenda can’t afford to miss chances like that adingra is frustrating to watch fuckingaboht wkth the ball and poor final ball in the box , lee fee on for him and give it 10 mins and get another striker on
Le Fee who isn't a left winger, aye.
