***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

Done well, last year Burnley would have dominated and I think we have strengthened well and can be competitive still getting to know one another's game. HTL

Should we heck. Roefs had that last chance covered anyway. We'll push on and beat them in the second half. We just look better than them.
I'm not denying we look better then them but almost every team last season against Burnley looked better than them, yet they still consistently got results.

They'll somehow spawn a few results like that this season but it won't be enough for them to stay up I think.

As for the chance, if he heads it back across goal then I doubt hes saving it tbf.

Alderete has had a go at Mayenda near end of first half for hoying his arms and not moving or attempting to from his pass. Need more energy off the ball from Mayenda.
I thought that mate I thought he was reacting after the pass/cross had been made rather than making the run first. Seemed a yard off that half

Clear as day 2 teams desperately trying not to lose.

Way to cagey and nervous overall.

Talbi unlucky with his efforts but Mayenda has to score

Losing Ballard is huge but if Xhaka doesn't return second half either it's a worry
