***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

They scored one that was lucky to be ruled out by VAR and missed a sitter just before halftime.

Wasn’t lucky to be ruled out. Was a foul 100/100 times and he wouldn’t have got to the ball without the foul.

It also wasn’t a sitter, it was about 2 yards outside the far post at a very tough angle. We’d have been very disappointed to concede from either.

I’d switch wingers for 20 mins in the 2nd half if we insist on getting crosses in, Adingra put a peach in last week using his stronger right foot.

I reckon we win this. Bad crack with Ballard and took a while to settle into it after that. We miss his attacking threat already never mind at the back. But Rob will have a plan and we come out and get a couple of goals.
To me west ham looked 100 times better than this burnley team when they were on the ball last week. Almost no threat from burnley at all.

Who’s Rob

No he hasn’t. gave the ball away once inside his own half with a simple five yard ball very early on, lost it twice towards the end just inside their half taking too long.
I must have nodded off when this happened 🤷

I was impressed yeah, he’s not the type of player I expected actually
I listened to one of the pods that had an expert on and they were saying he doesn’t do a lot of work off the ball etc so when I watched him last week I was shocked he worked his arse off off the ball and never once did it seem he had to be told to get back on position or to do his job. He’s got a great work ethic for a young lad who’s talked about as an exciting attacker.
