Burnley away

Which one yous on on the way back, 17:22 or 18:22?
Aiming for the 18:22 then booked on the 21:35 from York, have messaged the guy to ask if we can get on the 20:35 if we're at York in time (we will be if we get the 18:22, however, Northern trains are only one an hour so didn't want to risk booking earlier from York just in case of any delays/cancellations on Northern).

Have come into possession of an u18 ticket for Saturday (was in a package deal for the adult one I needed!). Available for face value for those who need it

There's 107 of us booked on the 07:08 train from Durham to York, then the 08:22 from York to Burnley Manchester Road due to arrive 10:01.
Just be aware that its a b****r of a route for cancellations...
I've tried that route in the other direction 3 times on match days and i've had a cancellation on part of it every time, twice on York Burnley and last weekend Newcastle York

Last time I went to Burnley, the train from Victoria was cancelled. They said go to Blackburn and on to Burnley from there. Train from Blackburn cancelled too. Had to bus it from Blackburn and got to Turf Moor 10 minutes before kickoff. Northern are an utter shambles.

Sons mate is in the Manchester branch & they have received an extra 10 match tickets today.
Who says?

We haven't "received" any extra tickets. We have members who go online and pick up extra tickets as they appear

And 10 isn't correct. I got online. Spotted 5 single seats available and managed to buy 4
Received by email or paper ticket? 😉
They'll be digital 😉

As an aside, the easiest way to travel between Burnley and Manchester is probably the x43 bus....and its free for those of us with an oap card :D.

Takes about an hour from Shudehill near Victoria station in Manchester to Burnley centre
