We need a striker who works hard holds ball up and scores goals, they are very rare nowadays, we will only have one style imo and that’ll be sit deep and counter and nick close games

We won't sign a "proven PL striker" IMO but our goals will come from all over.

In the season just ended incl play-offs), 15 other players scored - in addition to our two strikers:

13 Isidor
11 Mayenda
5 Mundle
4 Bellingham, Rigg
3 Ballard, Cirkin, Hume, O'Nien, Watson
2 Roberts
1 Browne, Clarke, Connolly, Enzo, Mepham, Neil

Hope your right but none of those will be playing regularly and what I’ve seen so far non of the new signings look like goal scorers

I don’t think we’ll only have one style, I think we’ll predominantly play one way but there’ll be times we’ll play differently if the situation calls for it

he always takes shots early. very good skill to have. But this goal is exactly the scenario where Issy can shine. opposition pushing on looking for a goal, Issy on the break in space. love it.

With the memory of his goal against Coventry, I’d never been more certain that a player was going to to score for us :)
