I even struggle making phone calls and stuff if it's about something important. Always been like that.
Same, i don't answer calls if i don't know who it is, just friends and family. I get others to ring up for me sometimes when i feel meh

DH4 or DH5. This one was furnished which was good because I've left the family home after a breakup with nothing except a load of debt.
I'm not convinced the flat is actually no longer available but understand why a landlord wouldn't want to rent to somebody in my situation.

Can’t say for certain but it’s not unusual for there to be dozens of applications for rentals.
My mates bought recently, their rental went up in Bowburn at £150 more per month, the landlord had 20 applications before he could organise any viewings.

Yeah they said the landlord had found their own tenant and didn't bother informing them until they contacted them about my application. Just disappointing as I contactacted the letting agent within 24 hours of the property being online but it took a week of back and forth to arrange a viewing and two weeks before I got to view it on Thursday. Doesn't fill me full of confidence for finding something suitable and I am desperate.
