Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

Exatly. Both Isidor and Mayenda played crucial roles in our playoff success playing in exactly this way. It's hardly a stretch to imagine one of the three we have now (Isidor, Mayenda, Guiu) getting an injury at some point in which case we'll only have one in the 11 and one on the bench. We need them all. Obviously that might change if Isidor leaves but I'd be surprised if that happens, given he only joined us last season and has proved his ability to play in our system. Could also cover on the outside forward roles.

You'd have more of a point if these players had been playing in the PL last season, but this is a huge step up and most will expect competition to come in the form of better players. Just look at our midfield and names mentioned at CB. No one should be really expecting to be starting, especially players at such a young age, who are still raw.

It might not knock Isidor to 4th permanently, it obviously would whilst he's injured, but at this moment in time, there's no guarantees as to which of the 3 will cope with the PL the easiest.

Anyway, it's pointless going round In circles. You have your opinion, and I have mine. We'll just have to see what the club does.

Can’t see Isidor leaving tbh. They signed him in January knowing that if we went up he’d be good enough and if we didn’t someone higher up the food chain would come for him.

We’ll sign another ST imo and hopefully a RW. I think we can see from recruitment so far and players were linked with that the club are looking at more than just survival, they want to kick on and compete.

Not sure he will get 15 goals but I was shocked watching his goal clips back as I had forgotten how well taken some of them where he defo tailed off a bit after his hassle with a knee issue as he always seemed to come off and have ice packs on it.

Yep second half of the season was derailed by knee injury, then us giving up after the Leeds game (which RLB basically says in his new interview) which funnily enough is the last game Wilson scored in before the play offs

Keep Isidor fit and give him a chance, he’ll score goals. Watching his goals from last year reminds me of a young Vardy.
Leicester, by the way won the Premier League in 2014/15, in their 2nd season having sacked Pearson after finished ng 14th.
Hitting teams on the break, like Leicester did 10/11 years ago, is perfect for Isidor & Mayenda.
Just saying.
