Hopefully, they haven't. But I do think Watson will go on to great things. I suppose we had no choice anyway as he wanted to leave. Which I find very strange. That they’ve got the better of the deal
But this lad will as well.Hopefully, they haven't. But I do think Watson will go on to great things. I suppose we had no choice anyway as he wanted to leave. Which I find very strange.
And the small matter of one of the PL’s breakout stars last season, Minteh.Behind mitoma for the lw and not very good on the right for them
He’s a class player Minteh. You’d be fuming if you sold him to a PL rivalAnd the small matter of one of the PL’s breakout stars last season, Minteh.
Then spunked £55m on a replacementHe’s a class player Minteh. You’d be fuming if you sold him to a PL rival![]()
Almost as much as if you did the same with Anderson at forest. He’s a class player Minteh. You’d be fuming if you sold him to a PL rival![]()
I think Watson was special too. Could play both wings and potentially in the 10.I think if Watson stayed hed have been 1st choice LW by November and one of our standouts.
But 'it is what it is', this lad has performed in the PL before and will be a good signing.
He took a chance as at the time we had a 25% chance of making it through the playoffs. I think if we had been a shoe in for automatics at that point Watson wouldn’t have gone. He chose the guaranteed PL route. It’s just kind of ironic that he ended up scoring the winning goal to get us there too.Hopefully, they haven't. But I do think Watson will go on to great things. I understand that. But we are now in a 10 million deficit.Hopefully, they haven't. But I do think Watson will go on to great things. I suppose we had no choice anyway as he wanted to leave. Which I find very strange.
Are we? For signing a better, readymade winger?I understand that. But we are now in a 10 million deficit.
He was shite in the right…I think Watson was special too. Could play both wings and potentially in the 10.
Another exciting & unreal signing its all getting so surrealJust seen a video of him skinning three people, playing a one-two then slotting past the keeper so can confirm he’s the new Messi.
Is he better? 10 million better? If he is, happy days. As I've said, I hadn't heard of him until earlier today so I've no idea. Are we? For signing a better, readymade winger?
It was one of his first games. He was shite in the right…
Absolutely he’s better as of today and probably as of next season and beyond. I like Watson but Adingra is levels above and I couldn’t care about the extra £10m, as he’s a clear upgrade in my opinion. Is he better? 10 million better? If he is, happy days. Have we signed him? If he's levels above, at the moment, then that's good. A little caveat, I don't think there'll be many if any wingers, levels above Watson within 3 years.Absolutely he’s better as of today and probably as of next season and beyond. So let's gets this straight, Brighton pay Sunderland 10 million for Watson to improve their team, but we pay Brighton 20.5 million for Brighton's Adingra who must be surplus to requirements.
May as well of kept Watson and saved 10.5 million quid.
I don’t hugely rate him. So we’ve basically spent £10m to swap borderline premier league players
He did not want to be here!!!!Well we've paid ten million for this lad if we do the maths 10 received and 20 spent. We lost a local lad who has the the sky as the limit. Hopefully, it works out better for us but I think they got Watson for a bargain price.
Seems all but done tbf mate. I honestly don’t see Watson getting many opportunities at Brighton but would love to be proved incorrect on that.Have we signed him?
