As I say the lad has proved he is an exceptional talent. Young player of the tournament at the AFCON. Man of the match in the final. Some superb premier league and European performances.

Itā€™s now down to RLB and the coaching team to get him back to that form and get him to repeat it consistently.

But the fact he is a great player is already there in black and white.

If I had to guess, we may be targeting AFCON players because they are perceived less valuable by other clubs this year because of the tournament and so we are getting better value and facing less competition because they are in lower demand?
I havenā€™t seen any of the lads play before though so I havenā€™t a clue whether any of them are good value or not

How many premier league games has Watson played? I doubt he'll be playing regularly at Brighton this season either. He may even get loaned out. Adingra is a player for now, Watson for 2 or 3 years in the future.

Course they know thats why they are trying to get as many in and settled .They know like most on here that we cannot waste games.We have a good selection of friendly games starting on the 19th so we will be cracking on in next 10 days

Tbf I've got no idea. Living here in Spain and only watching us, I've never even heard of the lad we are supposedly signing. Hopefully, he's brilliant.
