Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

It’s 6 games for anyone whose team gets to the final. Most will be back after 3 or 4
Diarra (Senegal) and Sadiki (DR Congo) are in the same Group (D)
Reinildo (Mozambique) and Adingra (Ivory Coast) are also in the same Group (F)
Talbi (Morocco) is in Group A

Top 4 favourites are currently Nigeria, Morocco, Ivory Coast and Senegal

Adingra signing is the one that’s the most exciting so far for me. Watched him quite a few times for Brighton. One game sticks out is when they beat Ajax in Europe he was
Brilliant that game. They also played the mags might of been season before last again he was best player on the park
All the new signings look exciting but this guy must be the lowest risk having proved himself in the Prem already.

"Keef...

The crown prince is a bit concerned at the lack of respect in your communications.

His Excellency invites you to a "bit of a do" at the Saudi Consulate for wayward journalists.
No need to tell anyone you're coming, you'll get lots of inside info about the club.
Please arrive at the back door and await your escorts... "

But it does seem a bit short sighted by us, why didn't they come to some sort of swap agreement?

Feels like Brighton got the better deal, money for a player who underperformed last season and a young Englishman who is the best prospect I have seen play in our youths since Hendonson.
He didn't want to play in championship, we were still in the championship. Not difficult to work out really.

Well we've paid ten million for this lad if we do the maths 10 received and 20 spent. We lost a local lad who has the the sky as the limit. Hopefully, it works out better for us but I think they got Watson for a bargain price.

If Adingra was called Armstrong and English they'd have asked for 40m

People trying to class him and Watson in the same bracket are mental.

Them without doubt. But they are unfortunately in a much stronger position than us at the minute. Brighton ffs,
There’s a few factors at play though:
Watson was about to go into his final year
We needed a more experienced player than Watson / Mundle
Watson has a book value of 100% profit etc which at some point will help us with PSR.

Not sure about this one…quite excited but less so that some others we’ve been lined with…7/10

A year ago we probably wouldn’t have even got a look in for him. Was a star at the AFCON and had a brilliant season under De Zerbi

Brightons best player is their left winger Mitoma and he couldn’t get past him so didn’t have the best last 12 months.

He is only 23 and if he could get back to the form when he was playing regularly then he could be the coup of the summer for us so far.

It's not really bizarre, we are signing within the philosophy of young players, it's just gone up a notch due to the level we can attract and what we can spend now, there are a lot of young players available for more money who have more experience and can help out instantly rather than later. Then if they do well, they could become 40/50/60m pound players
Okay that's fine, not. That's how a business would see it. SAFC 'flipping players' isn't good for 'us' fans. It's only about transfer profits.

Fans are used to seeing players like 09 (in recent years) part of the furniture, players taht stay for more than their initial contract.

What you're suggesting is. We are a shop. We are not a shop. If someone wants to run a shop.

Go by something low, and sell it high. A man-made product obvioulsy. Football isn't that and neither is Education.

End of rant

Hope so but he was their third choice.

It wouldn't be the first time Brighton have let a star slip through their fingers

I suppose we'd better crack on and sign the best Nigerian player anarl then
