Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

Henderson was always going to be linked. To be fair, we could probably spend £200 million and still stay within financial regulations over a 3 year period, but it would be a massive gamble and wouldn't really fit with what we've been doing.

Forest spent £163 million when they got promoted.
I'm confused over these random numbers that people keep spouting, you'd get more sense asking a cheap Ai hoe much Sunderland will spend this year. Wasn't the £200 million originally some sort of incorrect estimate of our increased revenue from promotion if we get relegated this year then don't go up during the parachute payment period? Now its our war chest and by November we're not showing enough ambition because we haven't spent £200 million.

You get about £100m from TV and commercial rights in the PL, if you’re finishing low and not on TV much

As the saying goes, 'until the scarf is held above their heads' nothing is certain

As the security services have it, what is the chatter on the internet

We will be running the ruler over lots of players (competing with lots of other clubs for the best players)
Agents will be touting their wares as well

Oh my effing gee!

I’ve never thought of using chat GPT to beat the mods ocd in tidying everything into mega threads that span decades before!

“Hey chat gpt, tell me, is this 500 page thread worth clicking into, or is it just full of the usual shite faux-itk attention whores and links to clickbait media outlets like football 365?”

Please use AI on every thread, much more efficient :)

We are likely going to concede 70% possession and be outplayed in most games.

Henderson will not help us I’m afraid he’s too old. Before people scream how many 35 year olds are playing CM in poorer PL sides and bossing midfield?

We should see if OpenAI will use the Will Still thread from last year as training for the language model 🤣

Would he not play a Barry Bannanesque role?

We're talking about Henderson and you then go and mention some of the world's most elite players 😆😆😆

Ffs!
To be fair he’s still in the England Squad ( someone better than us posters on here rates him) and is clearly a “ leader “ judging by Klippertys comments on him
European cup winner 🥇 -sorry Champions league!and prem league winner I believe and captain of his country and mlf -who was at Wembley with us ?
Why on earth would we look at him ?!!-makes no sense at all !!-better give this lad a wide bearth-also others considering signing wouldn’t be impressed if we brought Jordan home ?
Statement of intent for me
