Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)


I’m not against the move. I’m not against the player. I’m against the plain fact and truth that all we have heard about all the hundreds of players we’ve been linked with is has been just talk. Nothing has ever come of any of the players that we have been interested in. Question is, are Kyrill and Kristjan doing anything to sign players and if they are, is what they are doing actually working.

No downsides? He’s 35 man and has been rubbish for 4 seasons plus we could spend his very substantial wages much more wisely elsewhere. Just because Tuchel picks him doesn’t validate him. He’s been awful in those games. Give me Dan Neil any day ahead of a finished player.

Yeah you’re right, it’s probably not working. That’s why we haven’t just gone from league 1 to the prem quicker than their 5 year plan…

That’s as far from what I am saying as it’s possible to get. Nowhere do I imply that anywhere. So I don’t know where you managed to find that from. I’m making the point that we read x is going to leave y as x is out of contract and we are rumoured to be interested in signing him. Yet what ever comes of it? Nothing. So why are we even talking about them?

As for the final point I am clearly saying that all we should be focussing on is whether or not we think they are doing as well at signing players for the Premier League as they were when we were in the Championship. What they did before in the Championship and League One is immaterial and irrelevant. Like you. Forget about the actual players themselves.

And you basically make yourself out to be an ungracious and ungrateful twat. They deserve alot more credit for what they have done than the likes of you could ever muster. Kyril is a very ambitious young man who I suspect dreams of celebrating victories the like of which you or I have never experienced. I also suspect he intends on making those dreams come true.
