Tbf...Neil had a stinkerPeople forget that the lads are human.
Some posters were calling Neil allsorts during the game! He had terrible cramp.
Roberts getting shit constantly he was playing with an injury. Should be a bit of benefit of the doubt for lads who’ve done well for us.
Didn’t know Dennis had problems. Hope he gets through them and back to his best.

On there.
He peeled off early whilst the group were celebrating and just walked around the touch line staring into the stands taking it all in, once he got so far around he stepped back and lay on the pitch as the other players starting coming around behind the goal. Was a moment when all the players were over the other side near the dugouts jumping all over each other, denis was over the other side on his own just lying on the deck looking at us all taking it tall in, i said at the time it was a bit bizarre, if he has had problems maybe he needed a few minutes on his own. Comes over like a lot of the current crop do as a good lad like.
I'm not ITK, but it was only a week or two ago he was talking about how settled he is, how his mam has moved up and how he calls Sunderland home now.He wanted away from London after his dads death and by all accounts he really misses the place now
after the oxford capitulation young rigg looked as though he was going to burst into tears when he saw a bit of handbags in the stands. when the booers were drowned out by the clappers the team looked moved. i think this was a sort of lightbulb moment that showed them what it means and brought a bit togetherness back.People forget that the lads are human.

Not sure abt this Roberts injury thing. Didn't he play all 5 meaningless league games at the end of season when the plan was to get everyone fit by resting them?People forget that the lads are human.

In his post match interview on Saturday, Dennis referred to having off field issues this past season, and not just injuries.
Any background on this?
Anyone know what he may have been referring to?
Hopefully, whatever it was is out of the way before next season. A BIG year ahead!
I feel for him and in a way it gives me hope that he can rediscover the form from the start of season.
But if we’re honest, since Christmas really, when he’s been fit, he’s been poor. For a long time. The weakest link in the team.
I said that before the game on Saturday, and so it proved, again.
I hope the club get round him and give him the support he needs. But I also hope they sign a left back in the summer, because I think we need one. Brutal game.
must of had cramp the last 10 games or so he knew he was having a mare he’s guna say thatSaid his calves were cramped to bits after 55 minutes
Thought he was behind only Ballard at Coventry away and looked an obvious step up from what we've had playing there half the season on the last game.
He was excellent for first third of the season if memory serves.
He had severe cramps man FFSif neil stayed on the pitch we wouldn’t be in the premier league now simple as that a hope he gets

I’m not saying we shouldn’t support him, but the source of his issues is none of our business whatsoever. What?
If the bloke hasn't been/ isn't well surely support from any source would be helpful![]()
