Chris Mepham

As much as I love the bloke, playing Luke O’Nien at centre back is ludicrous going forward

You need someone better then for his role
Cirkin letting the cross come in as usual was more to blame than any of the centre backs.

Watch the goal back the whole defensive and midfield shape was a disaster.
The lad who scored should have been picked up by midfielders who were all ball watching

why does someone need to be at fault? you could say someone is at fault for every goal ever scored. its silly
They don’t. Bit on this occasion, imho that was oneins fault. He left his area and got stuck in no man’s land.

I love 09 and he’s been immense this season, but recently I just feel his performances have been a bit shakey and less solid.

That said, to any ref that wasn’t blind he should have made amends by getting us a pen against the ginger piss biscuit

I’m a massive Onien fan but it’s got to be mepham and Ballard next Friday for me

The cross wouldn’t have even been a threat if the striker was marked as he should have been. Also if I’m playing centre half I position my run to cut the cross out as I come over to the fullback

Cirkin was rinsed for their goal  to blame O'nien is absolute madness
Honestly I’m O’Niens biggest fan but at the end of this season players like him Roberts need moved on but the clueless knackers will blame him for anything

Cirkin the supposed top full back was f***ing hopeless once again

Thought onien was one of the least worst players today. Overall this season we have conceded less than a goal a game on average, only bettered by the top 3. 17 clean sheets, only bettered by the top 3.
Defenders at this level are going to make mistakes, even top level like van dijk and saliba had been making basic mistakes lately. Sure they could have done better, but our issues are comfortably at the other end of the pitch and losing the ball from midfielders in the wrong areas

They were saying on the TV that the goal scorer was Jobes man but he let him get away from him.
Actually I’ve just watched the replay back on YouTube and this is fair. When I saw it earlier today I didn’t see Jobe in the middle helping out at CB.
He was playing everybody onside and didn’t see the two runners goal side of their man (one of them scored). He ain’t run to them to meet the cross he sat deep and allowed a tonne of space.

Sorry lukey! I still love you 😘

He's an easy target mate, one of the most consistent players throughout the season, what you see is what you get, but the amount of posters who blame the lad for every goal we concede is alarming

If you check my post history, I’m normally one of the O’Nein fan club, I just thought on this occasion he was at fault, and I thought recently he hasn’t been at his best.

However on watching the replay I realise I was wrong and it was Jobe at fault (though in his defence he was out of position).

Watching the replay I can't believe how easy our bunched up midfield got played through on that side, and none of them tracking any of the runners. A really messy goal all round

It was almost as if playing Jobe as a 6 and Neil as the 8 wasn't the genius move that Le Bris thought it might be.

90 minutes from the play offs and the French Nerd is still experimenting with the team.

O’Nein was at fault for the goal. He ran out to back Cirkin up when he didn’t need it and left an ocean of space in our box for their goal scorer.

I wouldn’t be against resting him and playing Ballard and Mepham tbh
He's at fault for a lot of goals that we concede, especially recently. Pretty concerning.

I'd probably stick with him against Coventry, but with VAR involved at wembley I'd be half tempted to put Ballard in.
