Sorry, couldn’t disagree more - obvs to all wanted to be away and has presumably made that clear - I agree once the deal was done should have been placed with youths or somewhere to maintain fitness and nowt more - must be a first to announce departure in this way and Graham, Harte et al need to take a look at themselves on their conduct in this scenario

He was looking good in the game he got injured n'all, among a smattering of late sub appearances where he didnt do much. I think he'll end up a good player imho. I know most disagree, but i think he is gonna be a bit of a star
 
Must admit I won’t give him grief no matter how bad he is, he’s a young local lad who Reggie is selecting fully aware of his performance and his commitment to the team.
We have moved him on for over £10m which seems a cracking deal.
If he’s selected Reggie will be fully aware of the shit the lad will get and he doesn’t care.

It’s piss poor by RLB selecting him and playing him that full 90. Lad has mentally checked out and there’s others in the squad who could be getting minutes and aren’t. Aleskic being the main one who could benefit from minutes in these dead rubber games. It’s not like Watson is pivotal to the side, he played a few games before his injury and overall he looked a bit lost in all of them apart from 1 or 2. That Bristol City game should be his last ever appearance not because of his poor performance but because of the lack of effort.

He was shit. They all have shit games sometimes. He did plenty of running about but wasn't very good. I just think he will never be as good as Mundle and I'm happy we've got the money we did. I'm happy that we can use him while Mundle recovers unless there's someone better to do the job

Its funny as i never thought clarke was worth the money bandied about. Yes we had the crackin goals (on his right) but always thought other parts of his game were average. Now he hardly gets a sniff at a club like Ipswich.
Watson yes hes playing shite some argue not putting the effort in but lots of clubs see stuff in him. Time will tell but 10 mill in this day is hardly earth shattering.
I would rather the club wernt playing him rather than him being hung out and used as a scape goat.

Tbh there’s no evidence anyone else was battling Brighton for his signature.

It’s not like I don’t like the lad btw, went to same school as me years after, stood handing out trophies for 3 hours at my sons footy presentation, I wish him no ill will at all.

I just don’t think he should be playing going into the play offs because he is playing shite, whether it’s his head has gone, he’s feeling the pressure, what ever it is, he isn’t playing well.
