I've no problem with him going, I think most were expecting Brighton to come in again for him, but that news should have been for the summer, not whe we've got playoffs coming up. It's just puts a very unprofessional from the club and has caused a lot of negativity.

As for the club, announcing it now and inviting negativity is silly, just leave it until the season ends. Between this and the Seelt/Samed shit, seems were bordering on shooting ourselves in the foot...again. Its amazing how quickly stuff like this can snowball.
Anyhooo, in the case we dont go up...atleast it will help us fund new contracts for a few players.

None of them have the potential to improve as Watson does and none of them would get a move like Watson has. Alese and Ballard dont even get a game for us never mind a prem team. There’s plenty reasons why players might stay/sign for SAFC but money isn’t one of them.
Jobe is the outlier but pretty obvious he’s going to bigger and better things.
If we can't, or aren't willing, to promote, develop and play talented and promising home-grown players that are dyed-in-the-wool fans of the club for more than a handful of games then what's the f***ing point?
