Great performance, over the moon for him.

Been obvious for a while but this kid's the real deal. Outside of Sinner and Alcaraz there's no one who can confidently say they're a better player than him right now and even then you'd feel Draper would be fairly confident against Alcaraz on a fast court.

Also very glad to see Rune back playing well (not today obviously) and in big finals again. Chewy little bugger not afraid to wind people up and is really fun to watch.

Fair to say that's probably Raducanu's best win since she won the US Open.

~25 degrees, no wind, heavy slow conditions against someone who makes the duracell bunny look lazy. Comes through in just under three hours winning the deciding set tie break after both players had served for the match earlier in the set.

Really impressive, hopefully the start of something positive for her.

Not to sound crass i am here but as I was in the stadium so saw Swiatek, and Novak. Shame I wasn't on the other court but massive win

I hope so. McCartney Kessler next, who is certainly beatable then, you'd have to assume. Andreeva, who is the current form player. It'd just be good for Raducanu to string some wins together and get back up the rankings. She's still comfortably the best British female player currently and the only one that really looks at all likely to go deep into a top tournament.

Crazy how good andreeva is 17 year old and third favourite for majors already

Jack Draper is on fire at the minute, straight Into the top 5 now after the win today, hope he can keep it up and add Madrid to his Indian Wells title.

Through to the final on Sunday against Casper Ruud after the best clay court win of his career just now against Musetti. He looks like he's just gonna bully every opponent and hit them off the court every match at the minute. Really impressive. If he wins on Sunday then he has a pretty good chance at being a top 4 seed at the French and hopefully Wimbledon which would be huge, would avoid Alcaraz and Sinner to the semis. He'd only be 100 points off being #1 in the 2025 rankings with the win on Sunday as well.

Five wins on clay across all of the the seven tournaments he played last year, this year he's got five wins on clay in this tournament alone

He's fully fit and in great form. The next 4 or 5 months are massive for him. There isn't a dominant player currently so he could comfortably get amongst it.

Really good final tonight, Draper threw the first set away unfortunately, he was 30-15 up after hitting his first ace and then forgot how to serve, it always fascinates my the psychology especially in tennis of how you can be in great flow then do something exceptional and falter straight after. Ruud was really good today, his defence and ball positioning to counteract Drapers forehand was brilliant and I enjoyed some of his more controlled high passing shots that flummoxed Draper at times. It wasn't a one sided match with each player consistently going deep into the others serve, and it was great to see Ruud win a 1000 he's a great player. Looking forward to watching Draper in the rest of the clay season hopefully he can keep up the level.

Cracking final. Ruud's record on clay and more experience on the surface prevailed but Draper should take alot of confidence out of his week
