Kokkinakis has never exactly been known for being robust but nice to see Draper come through a five setter with his body holding up and someone else's letting them down for once. Great fight regardless, trailing two sets to one and 5-2 down in the fourth and coming through is impressive. Should reach round 4 now after Korda lost today as well.

Back to back wins at a Slam for the first time for Jacob Fearnley and up to a career high raning at #77 provisionally. Wasn't even ranked inside the top 500 this time last year.

You know we've been spoilt over recent years when you see a boring automaton like Zverev as number 2 seed.
This game is infuriating. Vukic is all forehand so Draper plays 99% of his shots straight to his..... Forehand.

Didn't see any of his first round match but getting taken to five by someone as awful as Navone on five doesn't bode well considering he's one of the worst players in the draw. Didn't play particularly well against Kokk and his level was all over the place today. Serving stats in the second set that Sara Errani would be ashamed of!

and despite all that he's into the second week of another Slam, gotta bode well surely that he's still winning matches despite being so far below himself. No sign of the weather getting to him either albeit last two have been night matches.

Interesting match thus far.

Don't get me wrong, I would love Holger to win. But Sinner doesn't look well at all. Thought he was about to faint earlier on.
Edit: Now the net is broken.

Wimbledon and Olympic final rematch this early in to the first Slam of the year feels like cheating.

Be a bit surprised if Djoovic beats him here but good chance to gage his level early after a bit of an average year last year aside from the Olympics.

Over the moon for her like, not so much myself who bottled a tenner at what looked a nuts price of 17/4 for her to beat Swiatek.

Be well earned if she gets over the line. Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina, Collins and Svitolina's a pretty grim draw.

6-5 in the third, Keys breaks to win her first Slam or Sabalenka holds and we go to a deciding set tie break for the first time (I think?) in a women's Slam final...

That winner from Keys at 30-30 from that position on the court was nuts.
