Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Spurs reportedly asking £15m for Solomon off Leeds..So thats the Watson money plus £3m . I'd do that deal and it shows whats available for the money if we want to spend it straight away .
If we can do similar realistic value deals for Jobe/Neal and plough it back in theres no reason why we cant easy be top two next year.
We are only getting 12 for Watson if he wins the Ballon D'or and 50 international caps! Be about half that guaranteed, With some sell on % and bonuses for individual milestones.

Expected really once their player turned us down in the final hours of deadline day, hopefully he can get his fitness up soon and play his part in getting the club promoted before he leaves.

I know I'm going to get shot down here, but.....
About three weeks ago a bloke at work who I've known for over ten years and have never talked football with him, didn't know he was even interested in football, said.
'I hear that ( frightened to name the club ) are signing a player called Rigg from Sunderland in the summer '

May I hazard a guess at Newcastle?

Decent deal for someone that has hardly played 1st team competitive matches.

He's alright. Direct, not great at heading, quite weak and lacks positional awareness IMO

Reinvest money on a couple of good players
