Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

I'd like to see more of him like, clearly a talented player. I half wouldn't mind seeing Jobe get the next yellow card and a couple of games suspension.
Will likely see a midfield of Neil, Rigg and Browne should that happen with Samed🫣 probably being the first midfielder coming off the bench.

I've said elsewhere I would have liked to have seen Jobe take a yellow against Wednesday, miss the next 2 & give his place to Aleksic for those & see what he can do. The fact that he didn't we've now got to hope Jobe can get through the next 2 without getting a caution, as we need as strong a side as possible for Coventry game.

Ahhh I'm not fussed about individual opponents, the pressure has been taken off with the 8 point gap. Coventry might even play into our hands as they'll definitely be playing to win.

Brown is absolutely lifting got no idea what he does he’s juts another pointer
Must admit I've been really disappointed with him & I really wanted him here too. I didn't think we could pass up an opportunity to bring that sort of championship experience to such a young squad, Neil & Ekwah looked desperate for an experienced head alongside them last season but if you didn't know you'd say Neil is the one that's played 400+ games at this level & him, Jobe & Rigg look levels above Browne.
Hopefully it's just fitness, he's not really had a sustained period of fitness yet this season & missed a lot of pre season but I remain unconvinced as it stands.

He was sound before his injury.

We don’t have any dead rubber games.

Might be massively unlikely we can catch the top two, but we should 100% be still going for it.

There may not be 'dead rubber' games but it's like flogging a dead horse playing Jobe every minute of every game, if he gets injured or suspended we need as many options as we can in the playoffs.

If we were 3rd and a bit closer we'd have a better that 1% chance of catching Sheff Utd but catching Burnley as well is probably a bridge too far.

I’d be more than happy for us to rotate our centre-midfield. I’ve long held the view that the likes of Jobe shouldn’t be playing every game anyway due to his age (feel the same about Rigg) and would be more than happy to see the likes of Le Fee in the middle, for example, obviously depending on match fitness.

Obviously, still approaching it with the right mentality though rather than just coasting until the end of the season.

At the moment the most likely options are bring Rigg in and move Browne alongside Neil or play Samed as number 6 with Neil in the Jobe role. It wouldn't surprise me to see Jobe on the bench against Cardiff as Le Bris is seeking to rotate his squad now. Good news is Watson should be on the bench ready to give Mundle a rest. Think Cirkin will return for this one and Hjelde back for Preston. Need to see if Seelt can replace Hume for thirty minutes as well.
