Milan Aleksic - Confirmed


Aleksic definitely has great potental.

We don't know what could have happened behind the scenes. Is he training poorly, is his attitude poor because he wasn't starting games? There could easily be at least 1 of a number of issues with a player like Aleksic.

I hope he gets more game time before end of the season, i thought he deserved a chance to start a game at one point he's very direct and i thought he was exactly what we needed in a AMC type role. He has missed a couple of sitters but we gets himself into this opportunities and Isidor has missed very similar chances to Aleksic so don't be to hard on the kid.

I forget who it was on here who said that fans had been talking to Aleksic and his English is very good, which it probably is, its not like he's come from South America.

The fact is, everytime the lad had came on he's made a positive impact, he should actually have a few more goals to his name, but at least he's shown he can get in those positions to create opportunities for himself in the limited time he's been on the pitch.

I think there's similarities with him and Adil and we all know how his Sunderland career ended.

He’s come from and shocking league will not be anywhere near as in physical shape as championship players or even trained to that level before the bar exits settling him in before throwing him to the wolves

Tossed straight in at the deep end? We're 35 games in and he's barely had a sniff. Seeing Jones coming on instead of him ffs.
As long as he's getting some good work in the gym though 🙄

You have watched him when he has been given some game time yes?.....theres absolutely nothing to suggest in his limited time on the pitch that he can't handle the league, in fact it looks quite the opposite, which is why fans are questioning why he isn't being used.

He was getting absolutely slaughtered for missing a 1 on 1 in one of his first games

That's just some bellends on here. You saying he shouldn't be playing due to some muppets on a message board?

The fact he's even getting into those positions to score in the first place with such little game time should be seen as a positive. He's certainly not going to have an effect on a game if he can't get on the f#cking pitch!
 
RLB obviously doesn't trust him to do the defensive, "shape" side of the game yet IMO. Maybe partly due to the language barrier.

If he's still not getting a look in next season there may be a problem but people need to chill for now.
 
If we are in the championship next season, I predict he will be one of our main players. In the little game time he's had, he looks like he has it. That little extra yard of pace that will place him above most and once he gets to grips with the physical side, there will be no stopping him

I, of course, may be completely wrong, but I've got a good feeling about the kid

Earlier in the season we were told, I think from RLB, that he needed to learn the language more.

My guess is that although we have all noticed him looking tidy in possession, he perhaps isn’t doing something asked of him out of possession. We seem to have lost our very impressive early season shape off the ball, but we are generally very organised still, and so maybe that’s why he isn’t picking him yet?
