Burnley received a total of £12M from Liverpool. £6.5m upfront + £1.5m from appearances+ £4M when he was sold to Southampton. And that ups it to £13m? No
That was 9 years ago for the initial fee.
For Danny Ings

Amad for 40 million.....I do. Have any team ever been given £13m compensation for an 18yr old?
Yeah being 20 when he would leave and not 18 does make a difference. It's you who is asking irrelevant questions about compensation for 18 year oldsAnd that ups it to £13m? No
Ooh, makes si much differnce![]()
So £6.5m for this mystery premier league player. We were getting £13m for an injured 18yr old who wants to leave.Burnley received a total of £12M from Liverpool. £6.5m upfront + £1.5m from appearances+ £4M when he was sold to Southampton.

I doubt he ever wanted to leave. Same with Clarke. I actually think a lot of footballers are probably quite happy where they are as long as they're playing.Young lad with immense talent but wantss to leave his home club asap.....i dont understand it.
if its all about money then that is surely short sighted for his career......I dont know why he just doesnt sign a contract but ask for a trigger fee to be inserted. He can have best of both worlds then, enhnacing his career with his club knowing that if he impresses and a dream move comes along they can trigger a fee and he can go.
That wasn't compensation and the initial transfer fee was nowhere near that. Closer to half of what you mention.Amad for 40 million.....
It's you are saying that we will get anywhere near this fee in compensation, ridiculous.Yeah being 20 when he would leave and not 18 does make a difference. It's you who is asking irrelevant questions about compensation for 18 year olds
Probably right, but at least the club asked the question. Was never ever going to happen. Sounds like he didn't even entertain it.
£12M for IngsSo £6.5m for this mystery premier league player. We were getting £13m for an injured 18yr old who wants to leave.
Aye, got others clubs involved just to keep RTG happy. Was this just made up to make us not signing anyone around like a success?![]()
He is no good to us at the minute and could have been replaced with money in the bank.£12M for Ings
He won't be 18 forever will he, he would be 20.
Do you think he's going to be injured for the next 18 months like
Nothing next year?Spent nothing? Isidor 6 Million permenant
Watson wont sign a new contract - I'd rather 8 million now than nothing next year (if it is 8 million)
How?He is no good to us at the minute and could have been replaced with money in the bank.
Well I now look like a titThat wasn't compensation and the initial transfer fee was nowhere near that. Closer to half of what you mention.
A loan, a buy. Now we have an injured player who doesn't want to be here. How?
If he wants a new contract or a move to the PL in the summer then he'll really need to do his best to get ahead of Mundle in the next few months then, perfect.A loan, a buy. Now we have an injured player who doesn't want to be here.
Bloody hell ... Brighton, who have raked in hundreds of millions for players, are trying to hand us a relative pittance for someone priceless.
