Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Look at bile when some of the lads make a mistake like give a pen away or miss a penalty or get sent off. The team is pretty much all bairns, still learning and gaining experience. We've had some proper cowards and shit bags representing us but there's none now.
I think this has been particularly harsh for some reason. It’s like he shat in their knicker drawers smeared in lion shite

Young lad with immense talent but wants to leave his home club asap.....i dont understand it.

if its all about money then that is surely short sighted for his career......I dont know why he just doesnt sign a contract but ask for a trigger fee to be inserted. He can have best of both worlds then, enhancing his career with his club, knowing that if he impresses and a dream move comes along, they can trigger a fee and he can go.

And also I dont see why Mundle and Watson cannnot play on same pitch.....one left and one right, swapping wings during game if needed

Be no where near 8 million be amazed if passes a million - only get paid a development fee

"various factors are generally included in the assessment of whether a player´s training period must be deemed to have been completed before the age of 21, including the level of talent of the player, whether or not the player is playing regularly with the first team and the value of the player, e.g. reflected in a loan fee achieved for the services of the player."

he only played 430 minutes - so that will keep the fee well down
If he stays can he not play between now and 18 months time like?

Hopefully he stays, becomes a 1st team hero & signs a new contract.

If he stays and tears it up for the next 18 months then we'll have a player on our hands for a year and a half, and then the fee would be higher than nominal.

Obviously, should he stay and not do well, we won't get anywhere near the fee mentioned today, but that wouldn't make keeping a young local lad a bit longer a bad decision imho - Any decent replacement will cost more.

But he has nearly 18 months to increase that 430 minutes. Or sign a new contract in the meantime.

That's if we don't sell him today, which I expect we will.
