Money in the bank? They've literally spunked all their promotion cash. A lot of the parachute money will go on the wages of all the players they've signed. I suppose they could sell Delap.

McKenna has chosen to play a certain style and won't change despite it obviously not working.

That to me is the sign of a poor manager.
Behave a poor manager that takes a team from league one to the premier league in two seasons, give yer a head a wobble

There is no way you are a Sunderland fan if you don’t remember the play off semi final goal.

A few examples of him using his left foot or going on the outside on there. It’s a lazy argument from people that he never went on the outside.

His pens were actually pretty poorly executed, often fairly weak and down the middle, but he never seemed stressed by the pressure by it and keepers always seemed to go the wrong way
Agree I wouldn’t say they were always hitting the inside netting or top corner but he had the composure and self belief to make sure they found the net what is an art in its self. Your best striker of the ball won’t always be your best penalty taker if they lack composure and being able to handle the pressure!

Man city have a buy back for Delap at 20 mill I believe. Great business. He’s basically on loan at Ipswich, fully expect city to buy him back even if they don’t want to him.

So Ipswich will only get the 20 they paid for him back

City will get 40/50 mill for him

Ipswich aren’t in the bottom 3 towards be end of January. Leicester and Saints are sunk. They absolutely have a realistic chance of staying up just need a couple more positive results it’s going to be another very low points total to stay up.

I’m not sure what the jealousy is about Ipswich on this forum. Whatever it is it comes across as being bitter. Good luck to them we want to see sides going up staying up and building it gives us hope we can do the same,

They are in the bottom 3. Leicester have 2 points less than Ipswich.

If Wolves start picking up points like Palace and Everton have Ipswich are fucked.
