It tends to unbalance the side if he only plays as a batter, though. And it’s debatable whether he’s good enough these days with the talent England have available in the middle order. Although I would have him ahead of Pope even if his raw numbers don’t justify it.

Hamstring tears aren't just a scratch particularly if it's a recurrence. He was clearly very distressed as he came off the field.
Just wonder if these injuries are recurring because he's holding back because of the knee condition

I think that’s a little bit cliched. The tweet is very much in keeping with Stoke’s character and style of leadership, and I don’t particularly have a problem with it, but it’s not about class for me.
