I've given up, can get to SoL for ko but with 1730 from Sland to Ncl canx I'll miss my train from Ncl to York, can't transfer my ticket to GC and not paying for another ticket plus £10 to transfer LNER ticket to a later date.Me and my friend have just booked onto the 17.07 Sunderland to Newcastle so if anyone see us leaving five minutes early please don’t heckle.
If you have a through ticket from Sunderland, and the delay is down to the Northern connection, your advance ticket is good for the next LNER out of Newcastle.I've given up, can get to SoL for ko but with 1730 from Sland to Ncl canx I'll miss my train from Ncl to York, can't transfer my ticket to GC and not paying for another ticket plus £10 to transfer LNER ticket to a later date.
Sorry, thought they were all offLimited metro service every 24 minutes running from Heworth to South Hylton should help a few.
For some reason I only bought York - Ncl this time but thanks. I use the train a fair bit, I keep getting vouchers because LNER frequently don’t have catering on Sat evening trains, I always complain! If you have a through ticket from Sunderland, and the delay is down to the Northern connection, your advance ticket is good for the next LNER out of Newcastle.

If you are in York I’m surprised you don’t use Grand Central. No problems with Grand Central services today.I've given up, can get to SoL for ko but with 1730 from Sland to Ncl canx I'll miss my train from Ncl to York, can't transfer my ticket to GC and not paying for another ticket plus £10 to transfer LNER ticket to a later date.
As your journey is delayed due to disruption you’re allowed to travel on the next available service on your original ticket.I've given up, can get to SoL for ko but with 1730 from Sland to Ncl canx I'll miss my train from Ncl to York, can't transfer my ticket to GC and not paying for another ticket plus £10 to transfer LNER ticket to a later date.
Been let down by GC to often in the past.If you are in York I’m surprised you don’t use Grand Central. No problems with Grand Central services today.
LNER not affected by Northern or Metro disruption. If I'd ticketed to S'land then different story. As your journey is delayed due to disruption you’re allowed to travel on the next available service on your original ticket.
That’s a shame.Been let down by GC to often in the past.
Absolute mess mate.Trains in this country are a shambles. Labour can shove my vote up their arse if they don’t resolve it.
Sometimes use them when I stay over, even then frequently let down and no hot drinks is a regular occurrence. I'd have probably risked it if I could have transferred my LNER ticket. That’s a shame.
Northern and TPE are a shambles, I avoid them like the plague. GC second to bonny and can be a lottery as well.Trains in this country are a shambles. Labour can shove my vote up their arse if they don’t resolve it.
I’ve done the same From Egton Bridge. I usually get the train when it’s a 3pm kick off but driven today to avoid the hassle.Decided to drive from whitby rather than risk the Middlesbrough to Sunderland leg on northern there and back. Roads surprisingly quiet....daughter is driving which means I can still have a couple of pints.
That's strange. We're just round the corner in Glaisdale. Would normally get on next stop.from you.I’ve done the same From Egton Bridge. I usually get the train when it’s a 3pm kick off but driven today to avoid the hassle.
