Nissan

A couple of years ago I looked at the deals they have where I work for electric cars.
The cheapest was just shy of £30k for a Vauxhall Corsa.
Not saying it’s a shit car but fcuk me £30k.
Looked on AT n 3 yr old with 33k on the clock are roughly £10500-£12500 out of a dealer.
A one brand new now are up for £39k

Just had a look. The lowest spec is £18'500 which is the same as the lowest spec petrol one.

In the current terms and conditions the company can stand down employees on a Friday(day and late shift) up to seven times. The employee is fully paid for these days including shift allowance. The first stand down does not have to be worked, but the remaining 6 are worked as Saturday overtime ,but only 5.25 hours and once the first ‘stand up’ is called the others must be called within 12 months, any outstanding after 12 months no longer have to be paid back. An employee can use a lieu day or take the day unpaid if he prefers. There have been a couple of temporary agreements made previously due to Covid etc, but these were not in the terms and conditions.
The alternative to stand downs are lay offs, which the company also have written into the terms and conditions.

Superb being electric in this weather. go on the app, put the temperature control on while you're having your breakfast then straight in and away when you're ready. None of this scraping ice and freezing hands for me.

The way its going with the Ukraine and Russia. All electric car debate might be in vain . As putin might go nuclear attack. I'm watching the Somalian bin men for clues . If they start going bk to Somalia 🇸🇴 saying

I don’t mind electric cars but to be honest that’s a common feature on most new vehicles these days. Not unique to electric
