Forthcoming gigs.

Another bust week for me , Public Service Broadcasting at Glasshouse tonight, Nik Heyward at fire station tomorrow, Wednesday 13 at riverside on Thursday, Secret Affair at the cluny on Friday then Gorilla Riot at Independent on Saturday. Feel sorry for me liver 🤣

Past gig now I suppose, but I saw Chewie on Sunday and they were fantastic, really riotous in parts, really emotional in others. "Fuck Team Sports" remains one of my favourite songs to see live.

Got Guilfest in a couple weeks and just booked tickets for me and my wife to see The Skints in October, which will be excellent.
It was excellent. An unplugged set, with a lot of deep cuts. It was very special.

Next up is Riskee and the Ridicule in November.

Just decided that driving to Sheffield and back next Saturday isn’t too far to see Tindersticks one more time. Always one of my favourite bands for 30 years or so, and I figured none of us are getting any younger…
They're playing two sets on the tour. A short set at 8pm and main set at 9pm. If you use spotify here's a playlist of the songs they did in Norwich last night. Looking forward to Saturday.

Thanks - though I’ll avoid looking until after the gig. Saw a picture of the (or a) setlist on Twitter a few days back and I decided to avoid spoilers :)

Just snagged tickets for Pixies next Wednesday in NYC - they're playing 2 small shows (NYC and Boston) before the album release next Friday. Bowery Ballroom, only holds 500 and odd.
I’m there end of January and Frank Black is doing his Teenager of the year tour and playing Brooklyn on the Saturday, quite fancy it.
