Still amazed Southampton paid what they did for him. The Achilles injury on its own is enough to end a career or at least permanently alter how a player can perform. Let alone the rest of his body being made of crisps

I was gutted at the time, I thought he was a right judas kernt, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.Started today and subbed off injured already. Loved him but selling him was one of the best decisions the club has made.
It was more about the fans reaction Elvis ladHardly Stewarts fault though, have they said what the injury is?
Fair to be annoyed at the club, not himCan hardly blame them, rightfully PF would be outraged also if the shoe was on the other foot.
Might end up a spectator at this rate. Feel for the lad, but his move and his contract should give him a decent financial base.I was gutted at the time, I thought he was a right judas kernt, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Probably the correct decision.
He's going to end up at hearts or somewhere like that in a few years isn't he...?
Sky said thigh injury.
Offer Soton 500k in jan....
Don’t even think he’s worth that now. He hasn’t played for 2 years and doesn’t have youth on his side anymoreSky said thigh injury.

Think that was his injury against Boro & was out due about 3 months?Sky said thigh injury.

He’s been very lucky tbf, Southampton look like complete idiots for offering that deal if he’d continued to reject our advances and left on a free I’m not sure he’d of secured anywhere near what he hasHope the lad can have a Quinn style post-injury-nightmare renaissance but his game is very different to Quinny who didn’t rely on his pace.
Fair play to him for holding out for the best contract he could possibly get. Clear at the time it was probably his last chance at a big pay day, and he may be relying on it for his future.
