Disney world Florida

Been here 4 days and been drenched by persistent rain twice. Everyone told me it only rained for 30 minutes before we came

Was left stranded at Hollywood studios last night, managed to get an Uber.
That’s one the reasons we don’t go June to Oct. Too much rain for my liking.

Got back home earlier after a mammoth journey home via Glasgow.

What a 2 weeks. Weather was scorching, only got caught in one downpour.

Mickeys Not so scary Halloween party was canny, bairn loved it. As she did the 2 character breakfasts we did(one at The Crystal Palace and the other at Yatch and Beach).

Got her bibidi bobidi which she also loved.

Did shit loads of rides, shit loads of steps (300k in 14 days 🥴) and a fair few beers.

Bibidi bobbidi is great. It was surprising cheap too. My daughter loved being called princess all day after that. 😂

We timed it in with a meal at the Cinderella castle too, which definitely isn't cheap but great if you're on a dining plan like we were.

Is Bibidi worth the coin? My daughter be 8 next time we go and we wanna do it, but unsure if better for younger.

There were loads of lasses different ages in while the bairn was doing it. Think it cost us £160.

If the bairn likes dressing up, nails painted etc then defo mate
Aye she absolutely loves dressing as Disney princesses. She has all the dresses so it was a win win we thought but just wondered wether experience worth it. (Well not me, the wife)

Aye, we were doing 25k steps every day in the Dutch parks. I was fucked

Where is that? I think there's one in Disney Springs. Is there one in Fantasy Land opposite the carousel as well?
How much was it?

£160/$200 each?
What do you get for that?
.
Or I can just google it myself

Other issue is that you'd want to do it first thing, but that's when the ride queues are small - so you waste your whole morning.

There's one in the castle. That's the one we went to. It's $100 for girls. The boys were loads cheaper though.

Not long back from Orlando and spent a week at the Hard Rock Hotel for Universal and a week at Disney. My kids are a bit older now and they weren’t as blown away by Disney this time but loved Universal as it has by far the better rides. Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot was pretty impressive mind, but most Disney rides are pretty tame. I must admit that Magic Kingdom infuriated me this time due to the amount of mobility scooters, “strollers”, and generally slow moving people making it nigh on impossible to get round the park. Again, it’s more down to my kids being a bit older, I get that it’s aimed more at younger families.

We were in Magic Kingdom the day after Halloween and couldn’t believe that the whole park had been fully decorated for Christmas overnight. Not only that, hundreds of Americans were wearing Christmas and Happy Holidays tee shirts. Batshit mental!!

Had a brilliant time though and hopefully will go back in the next couple of years. If we do I think we will miss out Disney and just do Universal, Seaworld and maybe another park. Universal’s Epic Universe opens next year and it looks massive from the plans.

On a side note, what’s with the amount of Brazilians in Disney these days? I reckon there were more Brazilians than any other nation there. I kept thinking there were loads of mags everywhere but a good few of the Brazilian teams play in black and white stripes and most of them wore football shirts. Didn’t notice it last time we were there, don’t know if we just hit the Brazilian holidays that week?
