Will say it's weird seeing the same outlets on Twitter etc. now suggesting that it's alright we look to be missing out on Simic all because Cardiff don't fancy him a starter (again, just rumours, we don't know the ins and outs). He's played a decent number of games at decent levels and looks to be a good find and potential solution to our striker woes - yet now he's shit because he's not joining us? Madness man

Wouldn’t say shit, but if he can’t get in the Cardiff side and is being loaned out then surely that suggests he’s not ready to start in the championship, which means he’d be no use for us signing him atm

I mean it's all ifs and buts as to whether he is worth a starting position or not (personally I think his record and our current lack of options means he would've been a good buy), but it's concerning that we have seemingly deemed Simic good enough get into advanced talks with him, only for him to turn us down for Cardiff/loan to a middling Belgian club
