There's a site that says that but it's not to be took serious . There's another that gives the value of the whole contract and he's on 416k a year so wages would be well in our range. But it will be simic as that's the deal the clubs working on according to a decent poster otr. Simic is happy with the deal and clubs are working on making it happen

Yep same here. Just being thrown in as usual. Either by ourselves to help with signing either Mendy/Roko or they are putting out name in the mix to drum up interest.

After a great start and even after losing Clarke we still seem to be in a very positive position not getting at least 1 forward, would be a massive gamble

I sort of hope that’s the case, fee is too steep for someone who barely played for Leicester last season and has had a bad injury.

Roko/Mendy/Aleksis in.

Ekwah, Auchiche out and a few other off on loan.

I’d be happy with that.

How doesn't he fit the model at 21 ? I really like the lad hard worker reasonably quick ,strong and can finish . We have also done much better in the English market then when looking abroad . I wouldn't go over the 6 million including add ons but of the players linked I think he has the best chance of an instant impact . If fit and that is the big question here after a back injury. The medical team would need to be extremely thorough . We don't need a striker version of huggins .

He just doesn't have a high ceiling IMO, there's been nowt to suggest that'll ever step up to Premier League level (and already been jettisoned by two relegation battling PL sides) which means the 5-10m quoted is probably near the peak of what he'll ever be valued.

Similar to Conway and Simms, he'd get goals for us in the Championship but is overpriced and wouldn't follow us up if we got promoted.

What was stewarts perceived growth before we signed him ? His ceiling is higher than mendys easily imo
 
I'd be amazed if we signed Cannon. Of the teams linked we are the best proposition based on fan base, club size etc and guarantee of game time. We will be last on the list based on wages and willingness to increase transfer fee.
Cant see this one at all. Last minute scramble for Mendy is my guess as what Friday will bring...

I'm not really bothered about Cannon to be honest. The lads had 1 half decent season on loan. Barely played 30 games and been surplice to requirements at 2 clubs already
