Roko Simic - potential signing

No idea, his stats say he’s played more as a 9.
RR just say what the club tell them, ALS probs what’s fits best on a T shirt..

Yeah but his stats are better/more prolific when out wide. At least that's what was on some I saw the other day. Reports also state he's a winger who has been played out of position up front

How many players have we signed permanently after being an option to buy?

There is no way he is a winger judging by his YouTube compilations. Not a chance.

Are you not referring to Isidor, who plays up front and on either wing?
Don't know, but it's there and we can do it. We have signed players after having them on loan, Clarke being one.

Quite a sad thought that we won't spend a penny till sale funds are recieved.

Certainly looks that way to me mate mate. Free transfers at the start. Pissing about with Mendy for over 6 weeks, then Clarke bid gets accepted and hey ho, this lad is apparently on his way.

We looked as if we're were sniffing around a few players like Millar earlier in the window, but no bids went in and they went elsewhere.

Only my opinions like. I'm sure those who won't say anything against the club will say the opposite.

But a deal for mendy was already agreed, so pisses on your chips a little

Most teams who do well in this division have loans, why should we be different?

Most teams add loans to build up their squad, which is fair enough. We're looking at loans for the first team because our recent recruitment history means that our own players aren't good enough.

they'll need replacing again come next season.

Loans?? Who the frig you on about? Isidor - option to buy. Who else?!

Proper sweating over this one.... think it could be one of the most significant transfers we've had in a long time if it comes off.

Have watched a fair amount of Salzburg, whilst Simic can be a little clumsy on the ball at times (difficult to with his size) he's got all the attributes and potential to be a huge success with us. He's one I've followed pretty closely for a few years and never thought we'd be in the mix for! Wouldn't mind adding a couple more from Salzburg in the future....their current attackers are going to develop into something special.

Rubbish. Take Ipswich last season as an example:

Omari Hutchinson - played 44 games
Lewis Travis - 9 games so a squad player
Brandon Williams - 15 games so a squad player
Jeremy Sarmiento - 20 games but only signed in Janurary
Dane Scarlett - 12 games so a squad player
Kieffer Moore - apparently the best loan signing in the history of football. Not a squad player.

So Ipswich, who are probably not a bad example to follow, used loans heavily and not just the pad out their squad. That's the only team I looked at properly btw but I reckon if you looked at most others they'd be similar.

It’s absolute drivel. Nearly every successful club to get up recent years has used loans. Burnley, Sheffield United, Ipswich, Southampton. He’s talking nonsense.
