Yeah that's always the case when someone offers a different opinion...
Sports Illustrated mate, fairly big organisation - you might have heard of them.
But if it helps, then Fabrizio Romano has said similar:

You've crossed a line here.KLD is one of the worst things to happen to this football club.
He simply is not true to his word about reinvestment of funds received from transfers to purchase better potential quality players who we could then develop and sell for even more money. Making the club sustainable and gradually improve the playing side.
This was the model that was sold to us. This is not the model we are following though in that we are selling players at less than their market value and are not reinvesting it in the playing squad
Where’s the money going KLD? Where’s the ambition?

"The fee received is a little less than the £25million price tag Sunderland had put on him, but there is a significant sell-on included as well."
The point being if it's not quite over the line, the money isn't in the bank. We're not gonna put the cart before the horse.Don’t kid yourself mate, he will be gone by lunch time
But he has improved the playing side. And if the rumours of incomings are true, then we have invested in improving the playing squad.KLD is one of the worst things to happen to this football club.

Does anyone know how much we get after Tottenham’s sell on fee
I’m hoping this will be the making of mundel, or the new lad but it’s a huge gamble and Reggie has a job on his hands.Exactly mate and this is the most frustrating thing for me - we eventually appear to have a manager who recognised this and encouraged players to get into the holes. He’ll now have to think of something else.
Be plenty takers at the right price I would imagine. I can see bringing in outside investment, his and sartori share reduced.Somebody has to want us.
Just a little stumbling block our fans continually overlook.
Not outraged. Always expected a sale to be able to buy. The upfront fees will be very likely accurate. It's not one place reporting it, it is basically every report. The only thing that is really up for debate is the break down and criteria of the add ons.As I said previously, you and probably everyone else on here and a lot of the media for that fact, have no idea what the finances were for the Clarke deal, but dont let that stop you getting in a strop about it. Also, you and nearly everyone else have no idea re the Ross Stewart fee, but once again, get outraged, knock yourself out![]()
2 yearsNo club wants to be in that position, where their main asset can walk for free in a year.
I’d put Watson in mate. Tell him he has a proper run in the side and it’s his place to make his own.I’m hoping this will be the making of mundel, or the new lad but it’s a huge gamble and Reggie has a job on his hands.
Imagine away. Watch out for the orcs and goblins though.Be plenty takers at the right price I would imagine. I can see bringing in outside investment, his and sartori share reduced.

The fee is about on par with similar transfers. It's more than Norwich got for Rowe, and more than Philogene (who had a buyback clause tbf). Greaves also cost about the same, and Szmodics cost way less. The fee makes us look small time imo. Other teams have coined it in on worse players from our league. Really annoying.
Would we have sold ourselves to the mags a few year ago? From where we were a few years ago .. you’re talking out your hoop.
From where?Wonder when he plans to sell us, plenty of rumours he’s been touting us around for the last 6 month.
