Jack Clarke

Seems we’ve been sold short but only the owners know if we’ve got the best possible deal.. and what they intend to do with the funds.

As for Clarke, he will be a first-pick for a PL club who are making some good signings in an attempt to establish themselves.

And if it looks like they’re going back down no doubt Ian Harte will be touting his no 1 client to all & sundry before the seasons out.

The fact the blood-sucking parasite has a hold over Tommy Watson too, worries me greatly.

I’ve been busy all day/night, what have I missed? Is the sale official or hearsay atm?

I saw someone on the previous page mentioning £17m +add ons. Honestly if that’s true then someone at the club needs lynching.

I’m normally the happiest of clappers but I’m f***ing furious if that is true

So if reports are true we get £11.5m up front once Spurs take their cut. That's an insult quite frankly. The Mags got £35m for that Anderson kid. We've had our pants pulled down here and no mistake.
I’m actually shocked at some of the transfer fees being paid and this one is the biggest shocker! It makes no sense at all WTF is going on !

Because nobody knows the price other than the parties involved. Guesswork has said £15m + £5m. Maybe it’s more than that , more than the others are prepared to pay ?
More likely he’s just not good enough to be classed as premier league level. A bit of a gamble for a newly promoted team seems reasonable. I like Ipswich. Hope they pull it off.

It’s also the thought of, what is £11.5m actually going to get us in terms of improving the squad, not just standing still?

We need a striker and a winger from that, minimum, and they need to be serious quality. That’s probably that money gone right there.
With a week or so left of the window remaining as well. Baffling like

Looks official, Romano has reported it

Sorry mate, just letting people know the crack - no intention of getting people’s hopes up or owt, just saying what I’m getting but will stop posting if it’s winding people up
He knows the extra money he will get by moving to the premier league. If it didn’t interest him he would have signed a contract here by now. The club has known he was going hence him not featuring in any promotional work for new kits. He’s going, another club might fancy a slice at such a cheap price and him and his agent may hold out a day or two and see what transpires.

Clarke would have been sounded out before the bid was even submitted.

I’ll say this again; although his agent hasn’t helped, the club should have sorted the lads contract before the end of last season.
I would assume Clarke has said he has every intention of leaving and would ok moving to Ipswich if a bid has been accepted.
