Roko Simic - potential signing

This will be a proper coup mind and this lad and Isidor coming in upfront for all they are young they have experience and goals in men’s football.

This lad in particular was valued at 12m in December just gone. Will be a few million since he’s in his last year of contract and probs a hefty sell on

Neither of these are wingers though
True. Simic is definitely an out and out striker. CF seems to be Isidor's preferred position too, but if you look at his stats he has played on the left a bit and has a knack for cutting inside and finishing with his right, a bit like Clarke. Others have rightly point this out as well and taken some abuse, but watch the highlights and you'll see it. Apparently he played on the left a lot as a youth and is very right footed. But I'm not calling him a winger - I just think he can play on the left of a front three as well as up front.

Also, I'm not saying either are a like for like replacement for Clarke - just saying the money is coming from somewhere and it would be unlike the current regime to spend significantly without outgoings to match it. Ideally we don't have to sell anyone, just trying to be a realist. I don't think it's possible for us to buy a walk in replacement for Clarke - it'll take everyone else picking it up to replace his goals.
Aye, just speculation alright.
Yeah, just like 99% of posts on this board. Is speculation frowned upon?

They have spent money before, why not now?

Isidor said himself that his idols are Henry and Aubameyang, so stands to reason he'd model his game after them. So not so much a winger, just that style of striker.

That's fine; I don't think he's the direct replacement for Clarke mind. Wonder who they will replace Clarke with

It'll obviously be someone of the same profile as these two, so early 20's and playing for a major European club somewhat regularly but not a regular starter.
