CC : Durham v Nottinghamshire

Daft shot from Clark, he's not had a good season in the CC.
He looked completely out of touch at Feethams on Monday in the 2nds game as well.

Mind you that was an excellent day's cricket and glad to be completely proved wrong when I suggested Durham would be in bother having being put in. Great ton from Lees as always but pride of place goes to Ben McKinney who came of age with that superb first Championship century.

Shame about Clark but all in all a great day for us, Mckinney was quality and great grafting from Lees and Turner has set us up well. Will need every run as it does look like a tough pitch for bowlers.

Brilliant day all in all. I have to say I was quite nervous this morning as the defeat to Worcestershire has just left us looking over our shoulders a little bit and I fully expect them to beat Kent.

We can’t really lose from here. I just hope we can take 20 wickets and put any lingering relegation worries to bed.

No coincidence that the 2 lads who've been regularly involved in the 16.4 looked completely out of touch for red ball cricket.
Fair point.
I admit I got the day wrong, I thought the team didn't look particularly strong in either batting or bowling and I expect us to collapse in a sorry mess by this time. it's thanks to McKinney and Lees that we didn't. Reckon McK will be the next Durham lad to play for England. Don Robson, you beauty.

It won't be long. He looked an absolute class act today.
